(A) Bookings are accepted following receipt of a 25% non-returnable deposit. The owners consider our terms and conditions to have been accepted by you on receipt of the deposit payment.
(B) Following receipt of the 25% non-returnable deposit, and booking acceptance, we will send confirmation of payment by email (or post if requested). This is our formal acceptance of the booking. It is understood the person making the booking is acting on behalf of all members of the party and is referred to as the ‘named person’.
(C) The balance is payable 6 weeks before arrival.
(D) For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival full payment is required at the time of booking.
(E) All payments will be made by bank transfer (BACS).
(F) Failure to pay the balance in accordance with Paragraph (C) will result in the owners being entitled to cancel the booking and making the property available for other parties to let.
(G) It is recognised that unforeseen circumstances may occur; the named person and other members of the booking party are strongly advised to establish health /travel / holiday insurance at the time of booking.
(H) The named person should report any damages or breakages to the owners and agree to pay full cost of replacement (wear and tear accepted).
(I) Cancellation Notification: All cancellation notifications must be made in writing,by the named person, by post or email.
(J) Cancellation Policy:
• If the cancellation if made prior to the balance being paid the 25% non-refundable deposit will not be returned
• If the cancellation if made after the 75% balance has been paid the named person and booking party are liable for the full cost of the holiday let [please refer to Paragraph (G)]
• However, following receipt of a cancellation notification, the owners will seek to secure a replacement booking. If successful a refund will be made of the 75% balance less any costs incurred.
(K) If the owners have to cancel for any reason (Covid, or Tree Nursery House being unavailable to unforeseen circumstances / emergencies), then the owner will notify the named person in writing (normally by email) and reimburse all payments to the named person. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses or damages suffered by the named person or members of their party.
(L) Holiday lets commence at 4pm on the date of arrival until 10am on the date of departure.
(M) Although we take every reasonable care to ensure that nothing untoward occurs during your stay we cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity arising, howsoever caused.
